WELCOME TO EAST YORK BASEBALL CAMP AND CLINICS 

 

Mission Statement 

 

  • East York Baseball Camp and Off-Season Baseball Skill Development Clinics will provide a fun, safe, positive and inclusive environment for campers to learn and develop baseball skills and a better knowledge of the game.

 

Goals

 

  • East York Baseball Camp will hire elite baseball players with the ability to teach and connect with campers and clinic participants as well as staff who are kind, responsible, reliable, accountable and who work well with others while always mindful of the safety of campers.
  • Campers will develop baseball skills through effective instruction in relatively small groups, through private and semi-private afternoon camp clinics and from participating in large group games and baseball games.
  • Clinic participants, in their homogeneous age and skill groups will be be taught progressively the fundamental skills of baseball by rotating through instructor lead stations of base running, fielding, throwing/pitching and batting. Participants will also have a chance to implement those skills in a modified indoor game for the last 25 minutes of each clinic. 
  • East York Baseball Camp is committed to provide an exceptional baseball camp and clinic experience and will use feedback from campers, staff and parents to help improve our product.

 

History 

 

  • East York Baseball Camp was founded in 2010 and Off-Season Baseball Skills Development in 2013 by Andrew Pace with the intent of improving the quality of play of East York Baseball Association members as well as any other child or teenager interested in becoming a better baseball player.

 

  • The East York Baseball Camp out of Stan Wadlow Park and the Off-Season Baseball Skills Development Clinics out of The Toronto City Sports Centre is owned and operated by Pace Baseball Ltd. 

 

  • Pace Baseball provides significant financial support to the East York Baseball Asociation each year to help ensure its quality of infrastructure, equipment and grounds maintenance encourages an ongoing thriving environment for the community.
