Welcome to our 2024 After School Lessons!

 

What is it?

  • Have fun developing baseball skills outdoors after school and prior to House League games with kids their own age. Participants will have age appropriate training in Base Running, Batting, Infielding, Outfielding, Throwing/Pitching Mechanics, Back Catching, Positioning/Defensive Strategies and General Rules.
 

Where is it?

  • Stan Wadlow Park (Cosburn Ave one block east of Woodbine Ave).
 

When is it?

  • Beginning the week of April 29th and running for 7 weeks throughout May and June. 4:15-6:15 p.m. Participants may arrive/sign in as early as 4:00 p.m. and must be picked up/signed out by 6:15 p.m. Older kids may sign themselves out as long as parental permission has been emailed. Younger kids must be picked up by a parent or parent designated person (e.g. their team's coach, friend's parent, older sibling, etc...) that has been communicated by email (for younger kids finleybaseballcamp@gmail.com and for older kids pacebaseballcamp@gmail.com). 
 

What if it rains?

  • Rain day make ups, if needed, will be the weeks of June 17th and 24th with an email to registering parents confirming specific make up days.
 

How often is it?

  • Parents may choose to register for 1 or 2 days a week for 7 weeks with days that align with their child's birth years. 
 

What days can my child register for?

  • These dates align with most birth year's EY House League nights... 
  • Monday AND/OR Wednesdays: 2013&2014 (Seniors) and 2017&2018 (Juniors)
  • Tuesdays AND/OR Thursdays: 2009-2012 (Seniors) and 2015&2016 (Juniors)
 

Do you have to be in House League to register?

  • No. Anyone who wants to have fun improving their baseball knowledgde and skills is welcome.
 

What will be the approximate ratio of participants to trained instructor?

  • 5:1
