The registering parent or guardian hereby acknowledges that participation in training and developmental programs by East York Baseball Camp and Off-Season Baseball Skill Development Clinics operated by Pace Baseball Ltd and all related activities involves an inherent risk of physical injury, and the undersigned hereby assumes all such risk and does hereby release and forever discharge East York Baseball Camp, East York Baseball Skill Development Clinics, Pace Baseball Ltd., Variety Village and East York Baseball Association and all executives, employees, camp director, coaches, instructors, Instructors-in-training (ITs), representatives and agents thereof from any and all liability whatsoever, arising from and/or by reason of any and all known or unknown foreseen and/or unforeseen bodily and personal injuries, damage to property and consequences resulting from registrant's participation in or involvement with this program or otherwise.



The registering parent or guardian will also agree to let camp/clinic staff know through email or direct conversation with the camp/clinic director or representative if they do not give consent for their child(ren) to have baseball related pictures and/or video taken for the purpose of instructional feedback and/or East York Baseball Camp/East York Baseball Skill Development Clinics promotion (i.e., social media and websites).



The registering parent or guardian agrees to the obligation to provide, through email or direct conversation with the camp/clinic director or representative, any relevant medical, behavioural or other information that would impact the safety, development or happiness of any direct or indirect participant in the East York Baseball Camp/East York Baseball Skill Development Clinics. The undersigned also understands that any behaviour by my child(ren) which is detrimental to the safety, development, happiness of the participants and positive reputation of the East York Baseball Camp/ East York Baseball Skill Development Clinics may result in their child(ren)'s removal from the camp/clinics without any return of camp fees.



The registering parent or guardian acknowledges that their email address and personal information will only be used for East York Baseball Camp/East York Baseball Skill Development Clinics and Pace Baseball Ltd. communication purposes, organization and safety and will not be shared with outside organizations.



For Summer Camp, switching of weeks is strongly discouraged. Please ensure the week you are registering for is the one that will be attended. If there is space and it is possible to switch, there is a $40 administration fee. The registration fee is non-refundable if switches are not possible. Any extraordinary circumstances (broken bones, hospitalization, death in family, positive Covid test, etc.) are reviewed by the Camp Director on an individual basis. Outright cancellation without extraordinary circumstances at least one week prior to the beginning of the registered week is subject to a $40 fee. Within a week of the start of the camp registration week, the cancellation fee is $150. Cancellations once the week has begun results in forfeiture of the entire camp registration fee. Sickness, alternate family plans (vacations) and/or leaving early for tournaments does not result in make-up days.

For Off-Season Clinics, refunds will not be provided for classes missed or for participant cancellation. Please only register if you are committing to the dates. In the event that the government/Ministry of Health/Variety Village closes the facility, you will receive credit for any missed clinics which can be used for future clinics or camp. Any extraordinary circumstances (broken bones, hospitalization, death in family, positive Covid test, etc.) are reviewed by the Clinic Director on an individual basis.



For Summer Camp, the registering parent or guardian acknowledges having read the inclement weather policy and agrees to the policy.
